With the blessing of His Eminence, Archbishop JOB, we are pleased to announce that the 2008 Chicago Deanery Fund Raiser for Diocesan Seminarians will be held on Sunday, February 10 at the Athena Restaurant, located at 212 South Halsted Street, Chicago (Greektown) and will being at 5:00 pm.  There is free valet parking at the restaurant.

The donation for this Fundraiser is $65.00. The proceeds will be distributed to all seminarians from the Diocese of the Midwest. Our diocese is the only one in the Orthodox Church in America to provide stipends to each student for every semester of their program. Please help us to continue to provide this great financial assistance to our seminarians. Currently the Diocese has 12 seminarians enrolled in St. Tikhon’s and St. Vladimir’s Seminaries. Many of them are married and have families. Your help is greatly needed!

Come join us to support our seminarians and their families, and to enjoy the fellowship of our deanery family. It would be wonderful to have a good delegation from Holy Trinity Cathedral in attendance.
